That's Amore

 For Valentine's day this year, my husband and I decided to stay in and make pasta from scratch. We made simple fettucine style noodles with homemade pasta sauce and bread rolls to go with!  

Pump-can Pie

 Mixed two great classics for a holiday dessert this year, pumpkin pie and pecan pie, to create a so-called "pump-can" pie. It was surprisingly delicious.

 A light and fluffy white vanilla cake covered in whipped cream frosting and decadent berries.

 A vivid dream of mine inspired the flavor combinations of this cake for my birthday. I made a lemon cake with lemon curd filling and cream cheese frosting.

My brother was born on Christmas Eve and loves strawberries, so I always make him some type of strawberry dessert to celebrate. This year a marbled cheesecake with fresh cut strawberries on top!

I always make my family's favorite chocolate silk pie and a traditional pumpkin pie, a recipe passed down from generation to generation, for a Thanksgiving feast! Thankful for family, friends, and great food.
